Brent crude hit its highest level since September 2023 on Friday, as the US-
Israel conflict with Iran entered its seventh day. Ongoing disruptions through the
Strait of Hormuz, which removes roughly 20 million barrels from global supply
daily, are driving the market to reprice lost volumes. The front-month contract
climbed by 8.5% to $92.69 per barrel.
