Crude oil prices inched up on Friday as ongoing US-Iran tensions kept markets
cautious after Washington gave Tehran 10–15 days to reach an agreement.
Support also came from US data showing a 9-million-barrel drop in crude
stocks in the week to 13 February, leaving inventories about 5% below the five-
year average. Hence, Brent crude rose marginally to $71.76 per barrel.
