Crude oil prices were mostly flat on Wednesday, despite U.S. inventories rising
by 16 million barrels, far above the expected 1.5 million, after lower refinery
runs and higher imports, according to the EIA. Record adjustments of 2.7
million bpd did little to ease concerns over potential U.S.-Iran tensions, with
Brent crude closing at $70.85 per barrel.
