Crude oil prices edged lower on Monday, consolidating after last week’s strong
gains as markets balanced supply glut concerns against elevated geopolitical
risks. Supply pressures eased somewhat after Kazakhstan’s main export route
returned to full capacity, with the Caspian Pipeline Consortium restoring
operations at its Black Sea terminal. Hence, Brent crude slipped by 0.4% to
$65.59 per barrel.
