Crude oil prices climbed on Tuesday as a severe winter storm disrupted U.S.
output, cutting up to 2 mb/d, around 15% of national production, and halting
Gulf Coast crude exports over the weekend. The cold snap is expected to drive
sizeable inventory drawdowns in the coming weeks if conditions persist. Hence,
Brent crude soared by 3% to $67.57 per barrel.
