Crude oil prices dropped on Monday as easing U.S.–Iran tensions encouraged
traders to take profits following recent gains. Additionally, President Donald
Trump announced a trade agreement with India, under which the country would
cease importing Russian oil. Hence, Brent crude slumped by 6.2% to $66.30
per barrel.
