US figures pointed to easing inflation,weaker consumer spending, and growing pessimism over employment, income,and financial outlook.In contrast, the EUR/GBP rate slipped by 0.2% to 0.8788 ahead of the UKbudget announcement. Meanwhile, Germany’s GDP results matched bothforecasts and previous readings, confirming that the economy stagnated in Q32025.
