Octoberpreliminary CPI data reinforced the ECB’s on-hold stance, with headline CPI at2.1% y/y, core CPI steady at 2.4%, and services CPI rising to 3.4% y/y.As a result, the EUR/USD pair held around 1.1554, while the EUR/GBP rateadded 0.2% to 0.8816, with the Pound under pressure from concerns over UKpublic finances.
